Cooked pan fried teriyaki fish fillet and asparagus with mushrooms. Something light and simple. I always enjoy cooking as it is a type of meditation. It allows me to focus, observe with my eyes, smell the aroma with my nose, taste the ingredients with my mouth, hear the sizzling of the pan with my ears, touch the veggies when I am preparing the meal. It is a relaxing experience especially when everyone enjoys the meal.
Stir fried noodles with chives, asparagus, carrots and mushrooms. I am very grateful for the farmers who have grown these vegetables and mother earth for providing the good weather conditions and rain so that we are able to cook nutritious food and enjoy a yummy meal.
A homemade meal is always the best. Nutritional, healthy and flavoursome! Stir fried asparagus, sweet baby corn spears, rocket, spinach and lentils. Lightly seasoned with diced garlic and Japanese salt and pepper. Garnished with sliced continental cucumber and summer’s cherry tomatoes. And the trusty slices of toasts!
Missing the Nasi Goreng and Mi Goreng from Singapore. Went to Satay Ria at Cannon Hill and ate a very delicious plate Malaysian Nasi Goreng and Mi Goreng, curry puff and enjoyed a cup of kopi. The flower design on the cup sealed off the experience of a local experience. This cup is commonly used in Singapore.
